February Owlcrate Box 2016

The Book

the love that split the world Goodreads Synopsis: Natalie Cleary must risk her future and leap blindly into a vast unknown for the chance to build a new world with the boy she loves.

Natalie’s last summer in her small Kentucky hometown is off to a magical start… until she starts seeing the “wrong things.” They’re just momentary glimpses at first—her front door is red instead of its usual green, there’s a pre-school where the garden store should be. But then her whole town disappears for hours, fading away into rolling hills and grazing buffalo, and Nat knows something isn’t right.

That’s when she gets a visit from the kind but mysterious apparition she calls “Grandmother,” who tells her: “You have three months to save him.” The next night, under the stadium lights of the high school football field, she meets a beautiful boy named Beau, and it’s as if time just stops and nothing exists. Nothing, except Natalie and Beau.

Emily Henry’s stunning debut novel is Friday Night Lights meets The Time Traveler’s Wife, and perfectly captures those bittersweet months after high school, when we dream not only of the future, but of all the roads and paths we’ve left untaken.

I am amazed by this box! I was not expecting this book at all. I kept thinking that Starflight was going to be the book for this month. I will literally wear that tote bag everywhere  from now on. I love it!!! I may consider getting March’s box, even thought it’s a bit pricer than Uppercase.

    • Personally, I like Owlcrate much more after having a couple boxes from Uppercase. Owlcrate makes such a great gift, and I would recommend it much more. From the first owlcrate box, I hated the book. With the Uppercase box books, I’ve had good experiences with it. I want to say that Uppercase picks better books, but Owlcrate has the better goods. 😀

      • Yeah! It does seem like it! Uppercase does have the better books IMO, but I think I would get the subscription for the awesome goodies that come along with the books otherwise I would just buy the book on my own.

      • Exactly!!! I might stick with Owlcrate for the next one, but I like getting boxes ha ha! I don’t like the shipping for Owlcrate, that’s probably my only turnoff xD
