WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I did start The Butterfly Crest last week, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. I read a couple chapters of it, and I did not like what I was reading. It’s the first book that I am adding to my DNF list. Sometimes there are really good books, but other times, the book can just be really horrible. It might be for others, but not for me. Since I will not continue to read The Butterfly Crest, I’ll be switching it with another contemporary book. My goal for this month is to read at least five books.

Anyways, I started reading Truthwitch and it’s amazing so far! I love the female friendship. Friendship goals, I swear. Safi might be my favorite so far from the two protagonists and it sort of reminds me of the Grisha Trilogy. (Hint: Magical Powers).

The second book that I picked up yesterday is The Start of Me and You, and it’s really cute. I like the direction where it’s heading. I have a feeling that the main protagonist might not end up with her crush, but someone else, and I’m totally okay with that. I’ll be posting the  synopsis for the book below:

Goodreads Synopsis: Following her pitch-perfect debut Open Road Summer, Emery Lord pens another gorgeous story of best friends, new love, & second chances.

Brimming with heartfelt relationships and authentic high-school dynamics The Start of Me and You proves that it’s never too late for second chances.

It’s been a year since it happened—when Paige Hancock’s first boyfriend died in an accident. After shutting out the world for two years, Paige is finally ready for a second chance at high school . . . and she has a plan. First: Get her old crush, Ryan Chase, to date her—the perfect way to convince everyone she’s back to normal. Next: Join a club—simple, it’s high school after all. But when Ryan’s sweet, nerdy cousin, Max, moves to town and recruits Paige for the Quiz Bowl team (of all things!) her perfect plan is thrown for a serious loop. Will Paige be able to face her fears and finally open herself up to the life she was meant to live?

to all the boys I've loved before

A really cute book, but I had a couple issues with it. Especially the love interest. I will read the sequel hopefully soon. 😀

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m a little torn on what book to start! I might start one of the arcs I’ve received, my heart is telling me to start….

  1. Aw I’m so sad you didn’t enjoy To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before! It’s one of my favourite books to go back and reread. Kitty reminded me so much of Louise from Bob’s Burgers (if you don’t watch the show, just watch a clip of her funniest moments and you’ll understand what I’m talking about). Truthwitch sounds amazing though. I’ll wait for your review to see if I should pick it up or not!

    1. That’s a good example! No wonder Kitty reminded me of someone. I love Bob’s Burgers!! I can see why a lot of people love the book! I loved the protagonist, but I wasn’t feeling her love interest

      1. Peter? Yeah he wasn’t the best but he really grew on me afterwards. Right?! Kitty is 100% the Louise of that family. I had a problem with how Josh was treated in all of it though
