This weeks topic is Least Favorite Books In A Series. I know that I’m posting a day late, but this week’s topic was good! I couldn’t resist not posting. Here are my choices for my least favorite books in a series:

  1. Pandemonium (Delirium Trilogy): I hated how things played out in the second book of the Delirium Trilogy. I loved Alex, but I hated what happened in the story. Ughs. I might try to reread it, but anytime soon.
  2. The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer Trilogy): I really hated how things went down in the last book of the series. I really didn’t like what happened at all! Didn’t like the end as well. The first book was okay and the sequel was the best book from the series.
  3. The Elite (The Selection Series): Waste of time and effort. The Selection Series should have been one book instead of a whole trilogy. The Elite was the most frustrating from the trilogy. I really wanted more action in this book, instead of petty drama.
  4. Lola And The Boy Next Door: I was expecting this book to have the same charm as Anna And The French Kiss. It was good and I love Cricket, but I didn’t enjoy it as much.
  5. Red Queen (Red Queen Trilogy): Overhyped and I really didn’t like Mare. I was so frustrated when I was reading it. I don’t plan on reading the sequel since most of the people I follow hated the sequel.

  1. We don’t have any series in common. But I’ve read all the Mara Dyer books and it was a drag for me to finish all of them (it’s a trilogy right?) so it really isn’t a fave series of mine. It had a promising premise but the ending? Nope. Not for me. *sigh*

    • The Mara Dyer series is probably one of the most overhyped books I’ve seen on tumblr. It wasn’t my favorite series at all, it was kinda of a drag to continue reading, but I wanted to know what exactly was going on. The synopsis was more interesting than the whole series for me. 😦

      • Honestly, right now I can’t remember what happened on the first half of the last book. Huh. The main was Mara and along the way a guy joined in. Then… BLANK. My brain discarded the details, can’t remember..lol

      • Ha ha ha! I read it so long ago. Mara was paranoid for most of the time, and no one believed her. Noah Shaw was too perfect…so perfect he was unlikable to me. Crazy hijinks and gifted people like Mara. xD

      • I wrote his name down in case there’s a list for least favorite love interests! I’m waiting for that day to come. Awww! That’s one of the sweetest comments I’ve gotten! It helps to write down my thoughts in a notebook when I’m reading 😀

      • You’re mean, haha. I better jot down his name too. 😁I never tried anything while reading because it distracts me. Guess my memory retention won’t improve, lol.❤
