Hey world! I received my Owlcrate Box yesterday, but I didn’t get to open it till today! I didn’t want to film my unboxing this time around because filming and opening the box with one hand is difficult. Anyways, this month’s box did not disappoint!! So, when I saw that April’s theme was going to be dystopian, I had to get it.

My box came with a lot of awesome merchandise:

  • Wicked Decal (Maze Runner)
  • Mockingjay bracelet
  • a mini 1984 blank notebook
  • a Katniss minimalist magnet
  • a cute bookish coaster
  • a mini quote poster from the upcoming book – The Star-Touched Queen
  • Flawed by Cecelia Ahren

My favorite item was the 1984 mini notebook! I also liked the bracelet very much, and as for the book, I haven’t read much reviews about it. So, I really don’t know what to expect.

The Book:

Goodreads Synopsis: Celestine North lives a perfect life. She’s a model daughter and sister, she’s well-liked by her classmates and teachers, and she’s dating the impossibly charming Art Crevan.

But then Celestine encounters a situation where she makes an instinctive decision. She breaks a rule and now faces life-changing repercussions. She could be imprisoned. She could be branded. She could be found flawed.

In her breathtaking young adult debut, bestselling author Cecelia Ahern depicts a society where perfection is paramount and flaws lead to punishment. And where one young woman decides to take a stand that could cost her everything.

    1. Owlcrate is one of the best book subscription out there, but its a little costly. I also recommend that you check out Uppercase, which is another subscription box 😄
