3 Day, 3 Quote Challenge: Haruki Murakami

Hey, and good afternoon! I was tagged by Jessica @ The Awkward Book Blogger earlier this month! Thanks for tagging me. I’ve been caught up with work and my social life, so usually I’m late at doing these challenges. For this challenge, I thought it would be cool to focus on Haruki Murakami, one of my favorite Japanese authors.

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for three consecutive days
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

Quote:

    1. Aww, thank you! I haven’t review it on the blog, but I’ve read it a couple years back. I usually recommend reading After Dark, the characters were memorable and it’s under appreciated compared to his other works.

      1. Go with After Dark, The Elephant Vanishes (short stories), then Norwegian Wood if you can. Hard Boiled Wonderland and The End of The World, is one of his most interesting ones, and very memorable. I haven’t read all his books yet, but I’m working on it. 😀

  1. That’s a beautiful quote 🙂 Have you read any Yoko Ogawa? I adore her. I’ve only read Kafka on the Shore by Murakami and unfortunately didn’t like it so much, but I can admit Murakami has a way with his words.

Thank you so much for the tag! 🙂

    1. I haven’t read any works of Yoko Ogawa, but I’ll keep her name on mind. Which book would you recommend? Most of my colleagues loved Kafka on the Shore, but I haven’t read it. Agree, Murakami is very quotable 😊

      1. Definitely The Housekeeper and the Professor 🙂 it’s short but lovely. Made me fall in love with maths.
