WWW Wednesday May 26th, 2016

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. Hey world, just want to let you know that this week has been great. I’m trying to learn how to manage my free time more. I find it nearly impossible because of work. Ha ha.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

As you guys are seeing, I’m reading three books at the moment. What am I doing with my life? Ha ha ha.

I’m nearly 60% with Star-Touched Queen, it’s the beautiful writing that drew me in. I’m also happy that my younger sister (who normally doesn’t read books by the way, has an interest in reading it). Very insta-love.

The Rose & The Dagger, I will try to get to the halfway point by Sunday. I have my family over from Mexico, so I had to put this book down for a bit. I’m going to try to read during my lunch break instead of watching anime on cruncyroll.

Lastly, I haven’t passed chapter five for ACOMAF. I haven’t gone to the gym in a week and this is suppose to be my book while I work out. Tomorrow I’ll go to the gym.

What did you recently finish reading?

the winner's kiss

I can’t believe this series is over. I keep recommending this series to just about everyone, even my younger sister who doesn’t read. Ha ha.

What do you think you’ll read next?

This book reminds me a bit of Anna and The French Kiss! I hope it’s just as good!

Goodreads Synopsis: Most teens dream of visiting the City of Lights, but it feels more like a nightmare for Sophie Brooks. She and her brother are sent to Paris to spend the summer with their father, who left home a year ago without any explanation. As if his sudden abandonment weren’t betrayal enough, he’s about to remarry, and they’re expected to play nice with his soon-to-be wife and stepdaughter. The stepdaughter, Camille, agrees to show them around the city, but she makes it clear that she will do everything in her power to make Sophie miserable.

Sophie could deal with all the pain and humiliation if only she could practice piano. Her dream is to become a pianist, and she was supposed to spend the summer preparing for a scholarship competition. Even though her father moved to Paris to pursue his own dream, he clearly doesn’t support hers. His promise to provide her with a piano goes unfulfilled.

Still, no one is immune to Paris’s charm. After a few encounters with a gorgeous French boy, Sophie finds herself warming to the city, particularly when she discovers that he can help her practice piano. There’s just one hitch—he’s a friend of Camille’s, and Camille hates Sophie. While the summer Sophie dreaded promises to become best summer of her life, one person could ruin it all.

    • The romance was too much, it’s what turn me off. Like, I felt that they fell in love too quickly…I hoped for a slow romance. Also, I wasn’t a big fan of Amar. The horse was the best character. *sighs*
