It’s Been A While…

Hey guys! It feels a little weird to be writing since I haven’t been writing at all. Nothing. I haven’t had time to write reviews nor read as much. Last month, I hardly put any effort in my blog. I just disappeared without really mentioning a “vacation” post or anything. For that, I apologize.

I promised myself to overcome any reading slumps, but I’m in a reading slump at the moment. It doesn’t help that I have several arcs to read. I’ve been mostly working, watching anime, and wedding planning which is such a “joy”. I’ve fallen behind on several things like buying my wedding dress, looking for sponsors, and I haven’t sent my save the dates…I’ve been stressed and I haven’t had time to read. I miss reading at my own comfort, but life catches up on you. I miss the book community. 😦

Again, I feel bad for not interacting with anyone. I’m trying to be much more active for this month since I have been gone. Tomorrow will be a better day. I have a new notebook and I have already jotted down a couple posts for this month.

As for my reading slump, watching anime helps me out. A lot. But, I won’t give up on the book. At the moment, I’m reading Summer Days & Summer Nights and I’m going to try to finish it before next Wednesday. Sorry for rambling on and on, but I hope everyone is having a great day.

Money Jar: Personal Thoughts

52weekchallenge-lg

I want to do this money challenge! I am really excited and I will be starting it today. I already bought my mason jar and I can’t wait to see what happens one year from now. I really want to travel. I can name many places that I want to travel to, and I hope that by the end of this one year journey, I’ll be able to see the world.

If you were to ask me where I want to travel, I have many answers

I want to go travel and backpack through Europe.

  • I’d like to visit Greece first of all because I love history and the Greeks were awesome back in antiquity.
  • France,
  • United Kingdom
  • Italy
  • Germany
  • Netherlands

I would love to travel to Asia as well!!

I’d like to go anywhere, but for now, I shall start saving my money and hope this all works out!

Personal Thoughts: New Years

Happy Holidays everyone!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years Day! It’s currently 3:47 am and I had a lot of fun today. I spent most of my time watching Birth of a Beauty, a Korean drama, with my family. My little cousin Brianna liked it so much, that we ended up marathoning for most of the night. I’m happy to have a KDrama buddy in the family.

I finally got my chromecast! Yay! And I also got a Viki pass for the year! I can’t wait to watch more Asian dramas!!!

Family came over and it was a lot of fun. My family keeps growing bigger each year. Can’t wait for my baby cousin to be born in June. There are so many things to look forward to this year. I’m graduating and I finally feel like I have a sense of where I’m heading in life. I feel absolutely ecstatic.

Can’t wait to make many more memories this year! I hope to at least do some of my resolutions and not give up. I’ve made twelve resolutions for this year. I’ll put my resolutions in a glass jar and pick one out for every first of each month.

Once again, I wish you all a good year! Happy Holidays!!! 🎉🎉🎉😊

Personal Thoughts: Christmas Vacation

I’m sad to say that I have one week left for my christmas vacation. I’ve haven’t read all the books I wanted to read, but that’s alright with me. I’ve been mostly working and babysitting my younger cousin. But I have completed one anime which is Noragami and I highly recommend the show. I cried and laughed, and I’m so sad that its only one season! I hope that it gets a second season soon! For now, I’ll stick to reading the manga!! 🙂

I’ve also been watching a lot of movies. I watched both the original and remake of Into the Woods. I love the modern adaptation, but the original one won my heart completely. Agony!!! That song made me laugh so much. I was really happy that I was able to watch it with my family and boyfriend. I also finally watched Mockingjay Part I. I haven’t read Mockingjay yet, but I’ll try to read it before the second part comes out. It  was a bit slow, but it did get exciting near the end. I really enjoyed it and luckily I didn’t see any spoilers on Tumblr. I’ve been watching Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries a lot. I’m happy that there are two seasons on Netflix. Miss Phryne Fisher is the coolest and sassiest female detective ever. The show is set on the 1920s in Australia. I highly recommend the show. In  a way, she does remind me of Sherlock Holmes. I hope to start two Korean dramas, My Love From Another Star and The Master’s Sun, before going back to school.

Lastly, I’ve been playing Pokemon Omega Ruby and Rune Factory 4. I was really excited for both games, but I was mainly excited for Omega Ruby since I played the original a long time ago. I love it. It brings back so many memories!

Happy Holidays!
